Do you need help?

If you have been a victim to intimate image abuse and need advice and support from a Revenge Porn Helpline practitioner, you can: call, email, request a call back or send a ‘whisper’ message via a webform. You are not alone with this and we can help.

Opening hours: The helpline is open from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays. If you ring outside of these times, please leave a message on our voicemail with your contact number to call you back.

The Helpline does not operate a call queuing system, protecting callers from unexpected call charges. We are a charity and do not receive any income from call charges.

What to expect when you call the helpline

What happens when I call the Revenge Porn Helpline?

  • Your call will be answered by one of the helplines helpful practitioners.
  • You will be asked to explain the details of your case, in as much detail as you feel comfortable to, we might have to ask a few questions to get more detail from you.
  • We always respect your decisions on where you want to go with the case, e.g. whether you want to report the case to the police or not.
  • We will not ask for you to tell us any personal information if we don’t think it is appropriate or if we do, you have every right to say no.
  • We will always do our best to support you and give you the right advice. Our practitioners do not read from a script and treat every case individually.
  • We will keep all of your details confidential and safe.
  • If you don’t manage to get through to speaking with a practitioner, please leave a voicemail with your name, a contact number and a safe time to return your call.

What happens when I email the Revenge Porn Helpline?

  • We aim to reply to all emails within 48 hours.
  • Depending how much information you leave in your email, we will try our best to give you as much advice as possible, but we might need to ask more questions.
  • If you need assistance with getting your intimate content reported and removed online, please include URL links to the images or videos.
  • We will ask you three quick demographic questions about your age, gender and ethnicity for our data collection. You do not have to answer these if you choose not to.
  • We will ask if we can send you a quick survey after your case have been dealt with and solved; all these questions are aimed at improving our services for future clients, So please be as honest as you can.
